The Context
Carton House, a long term client of ours, approached us as they were about to embark on their most exciting chapter yet.
As a recent addition to the Fairmont group of luxury, international properties, the estate followed an extensive resort-wide renovation.
With the help of architects and conservation experts, Carton House put the old house back at the centre of the estate.
The result was a new and elevated experience for guests that would cut through a busy hospitality space and introduce the world to the reimagined Carton House.
The Challenge
Today, Carton House has been restored to its former grandeur. Its effortless elegance and timeless character nod to the estate’s storied history that stretches back to the 1700s. Although the interiors of Carton House may have been renovated, its heritage can be discovered across its boundless estate.
While plans to launch a campaign focused on the hotel reopening were being discussed, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic could not be overlooked. Potential guests needed to be reassured that Carton House is a safe space for friends, loved ones, and family.
Situated on 1,100 acres comprising two championship golf courses, a renovated spa and wellness centre, and reimagined food and beverage experiences, Carton House had to be seen as the ultimate staycation destination.
The Idea
The idea of “Just Imagine” inspires dreams with a visual approach.
The campaign utilises the greatest aspects of its renovated interiors and combines them with the restored exteriors to inspire viewers to allow their fantasies to flourish and to feel that it is all possible at Carton House.

The Creative
The idea of “Just Imagine” is that the Carton House resort provides everything people will look for in a break at home this year.
Carton House is self-contained, but it also boasts all the space guests need to feel free, with more than enough to keep them occupied for the duration of their stay.
The vision here was to combine these features and elements – ornate, historic indoors blended with beautiful, spacious outdoors – into the visual.
These images were intended to look like dreams, visions of real escape in a storied setting that can be realised at Carton House, A Fairmont Managed Hotel.
The “Just Imagine” campaign is all about the visual approach. For this, we fused the greatest aspects of the renovated interiors with the restored exteriors to reimagine how a resort of this stature could be communicated.
The photoshoot needed to pay homage to the restoration work done to the entire estate while focusing on the individuality of the guest’s potential experience in each setting (for example, dining, drinks, activities, or facilities).
Magnificent furniture, pristine grounds, groomed golf courses, picturesque forests, and attention to the finer details were key to successfully capturing the essence of one’s experience at Carton House – a premium, luxury resort.
